Many activities can result in an accident or injury.
The impact of each injury varies as your body's response to trauma is unpredictable, not only physical stress but it may also have an impact on your mental health. Our goal is to give you the information you need to make the best decision about your health.
Whether an accident is considered a minor fender-bender or a major collision this can leave all people involved understandably frazzled.
Sadly, many victims of auto accidents and personal injury never recover as they don’t seek treatment for the following reasons; they don’t instantly hurt following the injury or the process of a personal injury claim can seem tedious.
Most work injuries are caused by overuse and repetitive stress injuries. Over time, small tasks done with poor posture can lead to acute and chronic pain, which can result in reduced worker productivity, lost time from work, disability, and an inability to perform job tasks.
Many people with work-related injuries never recover as they don’t seek treatment for the following reasons; they don’t instantly hurt following the injury so they never filed an accident claim through their employer, or the process of a workers compensation claim can have multiple restrictions and may result in loss of pay due to time out of work.
Sports Injuries include both immediate impact but also repetitive stress on athletes.
If you have been involved in a sports injury that was a traumatic impact, please consult your medical doctor to rule out any risk that may be involved before seeking chiropractic care. Athletes have a higher chance of concussions, and it is always better to be safe than sorry.
Many athletes never fully recover from a sports injury as they are innately trained to self-treat the muscles with ice or wraps, but this never addresses the underlying injury that resulted in subluxations to the spine and other joints.
Whiplash is the term applied to injuries where the neck is rapidly jolted into flexion and then extension, creating a whip-like movement. Whiplash is most commonly seen in people involved in auto accidents, but it can also result from sports injuries, falls, workplace accidents, and other traumatic incidents.
Unlike broken bones or other traumatic injuries, whiplash injuries usually involve an unpredictable combination of the nervous system, muscle, joint, and connective tissue disorders. Because of this, whiplash is commonly misunderstood and can be confusing for patients.
The soft, cushioning discs that occupy the space between the spinal bones can herniate or rupture. Symptoms may take hours, days, or weeks to appear.
Our chiropractors and team understand the stress and pain patients are in following a personal injury or accident. We analyze, diagnose, and create an individualized treatment plan for subluxations, whiplash, and soft tissue injuries. We will thoroughly explain your treatment and update your insurance agency on your behalf.
Our office policy is we will not treat any patient for longer than two weeks without experiencing significant results. We will continue to evaluate your progress to ensure we have chosen the most effective treatment for your condition.
